HILL PRODUCTIONS & MEDIA GROUP TO WORK WITH IOWA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, IOWA COMMUNITIES

Eight Iowa communities will receive direct assistance from consultants at Hill Productions and Media Group (HPMG) in the coming months. With funding partially made possible through a USDA grant, Main Street Iowa and the Iowa Economic Development Authority has contracted with HPMG to conduct a Main Street program and Main Street district image assessment in eight communities throughout the state.

“We are very excited to be teaming up with IEDA and Main Street Iowa to bring our services to communities all over our home state. At HPMG we feel strongly that an integral and integrated approach is needed within each organization and the communities they represent,” stated Justin Hill, Creative Director at HPMG.

Each community will receive a pre-assessment, on-site visit and training, discussions with local stakeholders, and a written report following the visit.

Founded in 2006 as a music production company, Justin Hill had a passion for creating music projects and concert events that would take the listener to a place where they could be consumed by what they were experiencing. With an evolution in mid-2014 to Hill Productions & Media Group, Inc., Justin and his team of realistically creative personnel continue to develop brands and take dreams to reality, recently expanding to include an office in Nashville, TN.

The mission of the Main Street Iowa Program is to improve the social and economic well-being of Iowa’s communities by assisting selected communities to capitalize on the unique identity, assets and character of their historic commercial district. Over the years, by working together with the state, Main Street Iowa communities have realized the benefits of more than 2.7 million hours of volunteer time invested into improving their city centers, a significantly increased job and business base, and over $1.4 billion in private investment to purchase, construct and rehabilitate downtown property.
